MLK Celebration

Event Description
The community is invited to an MLK Celebration on Jan. 18 at 6 p.m. that will include a keynote address by Dr. Terrence Freeman, professor of engineering, STLCC-Florissant Valley. The event includes musical performances, as well as recitations by the winners of the annual North County Churches Uniting for Racial Harmony and Justice Oratorical Contest. Each year, NCCU welcomes students in grades 3-12 from area school districts to participate in the oratorical contest. A reception will follow the celebration. The MLK Celebration is free and open to the public.
